Kemresin is Kewaunee’s own epoxy resin, made in Statesville, North Carolina since 1960 and used for lab worktops, sinks, pegboards and fume hood work tops. Because it’s the same solid material all the way through, it resists nearly all acids, alkalis and solvents, and its surface makes spills bead up and slide off. It comes in black, grey, slate grey and putty, and drain grooves can be machined into the countertops.
